Great slot car set, no loops or jumps for cars to fall off.Dec 26, 2008
By Steelwheelsteve This set is very nice because of the larger scale (size) of cars so they are easier to put on track and it has no loops so cars don't fall off track very much. my 5 year old and I both love playing together with this and we haven't broken anything yet so it is built well and robust.

Fun comes after patienceJan 18, 2011
By TraderX I'd like to clear up the tracks issue. There are plastic connectors that snap into place betwwen any 2 pieces of track to keep them from coming apart. This is a sturdy toy. The tracks are too short for much fun. We got ours at a local retailer at a huge discount. Liked it so much we went back and picked up another set (luckily still available) so we could expand the track. My 7 year old got used to varying the speed to stay on the track well enough to have tons of fun and me too. If the price allows you to get 2 sets (spare parts and more tracks) without feeling much pain, then you may have as much fun as we do. In short, it's a blast.

Not worth the moneyDec 30, 2009
By D. Fortin The track is flimsy and disconnects constantly. The trigger under the cars tends to get bent and needs readjusting. My son used this a few times and that was it. Too frustrating.

Flying CarsFeb 19, 2009
By S. Clark The track was pretty easy to put together even though the directions were not the best. My only complaint about it is that the cars fly off the track very easily. It's fun to race the cars. We can never use the turbo button because the cars go shooting off the track.
Christmas gift for my 4 year old (and husband)Dec 28, 2011
By Sue I got this for my 4 year old son. He wanted a much bigger(and more expensive) set but decided that this would be a good starter track for him. He was very excited when he unwrapped it and he played with it for hours on Christmas day. It took him a few laps to figure out exactly how to power the cars to make it go the whole way around. It took a few minutes to put it all together. We used the clips to keep the track together and it seems to be working well. Using the turbo only causes the cars to go off track. But since the turbo is a seperate button it is really not much of a problem. My husband and I even played it when our boys were napping. Will surely be looking into a bigger track set when he gets older. It is a lot of fun for the whole family.
