This set is great for any Sleeping Beauty enthusiast. An older fan can display them; a younger one can still appreciate them, though they are not posable and could get damaged by rough play. My 3-year old does just fine with them; Maleficent and the dragon are particularly a hit, though as you can tell from the picture, the dragon isn't to scale, obviously.
My one-star rating regards not the product but this price. I JUST bought this set this week for under $10 at a mall Disney store. Online, Disney was selling it for slightly more. Here, double and triple that? Shop around.

I bought these at our mall Disney store for $10.00. I think the box was marked $12.99 originally. This isn't the highest quality set I've seen as far as the detailing, but it is a great set. I am happy with this set especially for the price I paid. There are no tiny pieces which is nice. The only thing missing is Sleeping beauty, she is dressed as Briar Rose.

4 and 1/2 Stars: The Box arrived slightly dented (being damaged in transport/delivery), but the figurines are in good condition. This "Sleeping Beauty" set includes the major characters from Walt Disney's animated masterpiece: Princess Aurora/Briar Rose in her "peasant girl" dress she wears in the "forest/"Once Upon A Dream" scene. Prince Phillip, Good Faeries Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, Wicked "Mistress Of All Evil" Malificent, and the fire-spewing dragon Malificent transforms into at the film's exciting climax. The figurines look exactly like the characters in the film.
I display my Disney Collection on a shelf. Therefore, I do not take the figurines out of the box. Left in the box (the perfect way for long-term display), the figurines should stay intact for a LONG time. Along with the 2008 "Sleeping Beauty 2 Disc Platinum Edition DVD", this figurine set is the perfect addition to your celebration of the 50th Anniversary of "Sleeping Beauty."

Disney's figurine sets are great for any kid who's into Disney movies and stories. Each of these sets features characters kids relate to instantly, and trigger hours of fun, imaginative play.
