My daughter has developmental delays and LeapFrog continues to provide a wide variety of toys that meet her needs. This toy is so adorable and has such catchy tunes that our whole family loves to sing along with the music. It also has a temporary shut off setting that makes the spinning tummy glow like a night light but the activity is silent, perfect for bedtime. We love this toy so much that we got the entire Animals learning set.

My baby loves this toy. She loves it so much we've had to replace the batteries. I only find it mildly educational. Even my 3 year old loves it. Though we do walk around all day singing the songs because they get stuck in your head.

I bought this toy for my son when he was about 6 months old.... He is now 6 YEARS old! We all used to have fun playing and singing the little "I am a lion, I roar all day" song with him but then when he outgrew it we put it away for if we had another baby. I found it in the attic when my daughter was about 3 months old and decided to see if it would still work. I was surprised and pleased to find that, after a fresh set of batteries, it works perfectly... and now we are all singing the little songs again!
She is 10 months old and loves to spin the tummy. She never really pushes the little heart, but that's probably because it doesn't do much on and she gets such a bigger response from spinning. I think it has helped with some motor development because she used to just flop her hand over it to spin it and now she carefully points her little index finger out to spin it.
It looks like they have improved the 'cuteness' of the lion, ours is a lot plainer than the one pictured on Amazon, but you can't beat a baby toy that is still going strong after more than 6 years!

Great vendor. We received the lion promptly in the mail. My kid loves playing with it when he wakes up, which prolongs naptime! We love it.
