Family Fun for All!Nov 25, 1999
We've been playing Michigan Rummy for years, although we long ago lost the green tray! It's a great game to get the family together after a holiday meal... or any other time, for that matter. It's filled with thrills and heartaches, and it always brings in a lot of laughs. The more players you have, the more intresting it becomes. Michigan Rummy is definately worth the price Amazon.com is selling it for, but with a deck of cards, some poker chips, and a little ingenuity this is can be a do-it-yourself game no matter where you are.

Family Michigan RummyJan 11, 2007
By John Correz We purchased the game because we played Michigan Rummy when we were young kids. We bought the game and took it on a family vacation and the whole family played the game. Our ages ranged from 8 years to 76 years and several in between. It was hard to quit playing at the end of the evening because everyone enjoyed it. It will certainly be used in future get togethers of not only relatives but friends.

New player of Michigan RummyNov 22, 2007

I played Michigan Rummy for the first time with my girlfriend's family two years ago and now find myself looking to play the game during family gatherings, especially holidays. I do not recall playing this game as a child so I feel it is one I missed out on. I have since introduced some friends to this game. It is a nice group game to play. The board is made out of a thin plastic so unfortunately flimsy. I am looking to order the wooden board after this review.
Enjoy!

Fun game for the whole familyAug 24, 2011
By Matthew Gilliam We play Michigan Rummy every Christmas Eve at my family's party. After searching every big store and toy store in the tri-county area I finally gave up and looked online thinging it was either hopeless or I was going to pay an arm and a leg for a board just so we could play the game. When I found it I was amazed at the price and could not be happier. I have to say though that we play with pennies because the game only comes with about 100 of the tokens and this is not nearly enough when you have more than two people playing. I highly recommend this to anyone. Not only for the price of the product but because it can bring hours of fun and the family together.

Not a toy.Dec 28, 2008

The whole thing about Michigan Rummy is the tray you place the money in. This one is so flimsy I do not think it will become a family heirloom. But it does serve the purpose.
