A Toy and maybe a KeepsakeOct 01, 2011
By Norma L. Samis I got a series of these horses for my 4.5 year old great niece and she absolutely loved them. So did her Dad. They're beautiful; they're very lifelike; they're sturdy enough to be played with and time will tell whether they survive the playing to become a keepsake. Her Dad may make that happen because he thinks they should be a collection. I had a great aunt that always said - if you never use your fine china and silver, what's the use of having it. Some will break; some will survive and be a memory of many happy family meals. The same goes for these horses.

Can't beat Schleich!Feb 01, 2010

I love all the Schleich products. The detail is wonderful & they are STURDY! My daughters play with all their Schleich animals constantly and have yet to break any (I'm not sure it's possible in even the roughest play). They take them in the bath and then dry them off to play with everywhere else. I'm sure these will last until my younger daughters get to play with them & maybe even grandchildren. They are very realistic. I highly recommend this (my daughter has been collecting another brand of horses - she started with my collection - but, they break so easily, they are really for someone who will be extrememly careful with them).
The Best Schleich!Oct 25, 2011
By A reader I have collected Schleich for some time now, and this is my best! He is sturdy, durable, and just overall a blast! He has realistic hooves, but they did not add his frog. His markings are very realistic, and he is beautifully painted! I give him a 100/10. Beautiful.

By M. Jeffrey The horse was very pretty and my 6 year old enjoys time spent with her horses. Just be careful of the legs and tail, they may break.
