When Luke and Mara MetDec 05, 2007

This action figure collection includes both a Luke Skywalker figure and a Mara Jade figure as well as a Dark Horse comic adaptation of HEIR TO THE EMPIRE. The HEIR TO THE EMPIRE was the first set of Star Wars books to have been written after Lucasfilm agreed to even more extensive licensing in the mid-1990s. The books introduce the character of Mara Jade, the avowed enemy of Luke Skywalker who would later become his wife. The figures are fully posable in the arms and have some moveable leg parts. There are many Luke Skywalker action figures, but there are only a handful of Mara Jade figures and this one is one of the best. A great item for any Star Wars fan and a must-have item for any fan of Mara Jade.
Review of Expanded Universe Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade Action FiguresNov 28, 2011
By Willie W. I thoroughly enjoyed these action figures and I would definitely recommend them to any Star Wars fan who are looking to add the Expanded Universe figures to his or her 2010 and/or 2011 Vintage-Styled Collection!
Not bad, but Mara could have been betterOct 23, 2011
By Enjolras I love Heir to the Empire and thought this would be the revised Mara Jade figure we've all been waiting for. Unfortunately, it's not. While it's not bad, it's not great. The paint application on the face seems a bit off and Mara looks like she has a receding hairline. Moreover, the lightsaber seems to be a shaw of purple too light and the blade handle is very rubbery. It's certainly not a bad figure, especially if it's the only version of Mara we get for another 10 years, but given how prominent a character she is I'd hoped Hasbro would have made her perfect.
