This "lunch box" if you can call it that, is very small. it is about 3" deep and 6" long and about 5" tall, so if you want it for some on to carry their lunch in I hope they are on a diet. The paint on the box looks very nice, but I dont know what I will use it for.

We bought this for our 7 y/o son to transport his Star Wars figures around to his Grandpa's house and to day camp. Very sturdy, very nice graphics and he just loves it.
As mentioned before by other reviews, THIS IS NOT A FULL SIZE LUNCH BOX. We knew this before we bought it and were not surprised by it's size. It is about 60% the size of an old-fashion lunch box, and it meant to carry and store keepsakes...not food. So, buy this if you are looking for a neat gift for a boy who loves Star Wars. You, and they, won't be disappointed.
We bought it and put several figures in it as a gift...you should have seen his eyes light up! Very pleased!
