| | | Description: | | Tigers are ferocious felines dressed in orange and black. Tigers, one of the most endangered animals in the world, are the largest of all living cats. They live in forests, grasslands, and swamps where they hunt alone for animals such as deer, wild pigs, and buffalo. (They also eat smaller creatures like fish and birds or even other large predators like leopards.) They've been known to eat up to eighty pounds of meat in a single feeding! Tigers can travel for long distances and can leap as much as thirty feet in a single bound. They live alone and only come together to mate; females give birth to two or three babies at a time. Today only six remaining subspecies of tiger remain -- the Bengal, Indochinese, Malayan, Siberian, South China, and Sumatran. Fun Facts: Tigers can leap horizontally up to three times their body length. Good qualityApr 30, 2008
By Ava L. Jernigan It is nice to see toys of good quality and this one fits the profile. It is a realistic looking figurine and seems to be durable. I am for simple imaginative toys that don't need batteries or that make lots of noise. These types of toys promote imagination and creativity.

AwesomeSep 06, 2011
By nate01776 Exactly as advertised, a great quality plastic tiger with a killer paint job! About 4 inches long and 2 tall, a nice size and make from strong plastic so you dont have to worry about the tail breaking off in little Peter's mouth when mom's back is turned...

Schleich figurinesNov 29, 2010
By Hill Goodwin I am always impressed with Schleich figurines. My daughter has giraffes, zebras, cats and golden retrievers. I got the male, female and tiger cub for her stocking this Christmas. They are beautiful.

Don't buy thisDec 13, 2011
By jon yoon It's not a tiger, but a skinny cat. Really poor cat. Totally different from picture. Do not waste your money on this junk.
