This is one sweet Starscream exclusive! The Deep Space Starscream has a more realistic looking paint job with some metallic finish. The detail is actually better on this than the original version with the innerworks in robot mode showing up better. The head piece is more movie accurate as well. The F-22 Raptor mode is just as solid and detailed as well. There is some clutter on the underside in vehicle mode, but this is not a big deal in the overall picture.Starscream comes with 6 firing missiles that can be loaded in his missle hands or actually stored on the arm when in robot mode.I actually own all the versions that have this figure mold including the first version Starscream,Thundercracker,Ramjet, and Skywarp so I can positively say this is as good a version as any of the others mentioned. The poseability is excellent with solid support on the front and back feet for any displaying pose you can think of.This is very good for acting out battle scenes as well. The durability is excellent as well with Starscream being able to handle whatever comes his way in either mode. The missiles in Raptor mode do fire very easily and are bit sensitive to the touch is the only thing to watch out for.The transformation level is advanced meaning if you have plenty of experience with transformers there is mid-level difficulty. If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 or younger you might have to help some in the process.Honestly though Starscream is very versatile for all ages and is not as difficult to transform as he looks.Anyone should be able to handle the process after a few times easy. The positives are far more present than negatives in this figure.Bottom line Deep Space Starscream Exclusive is a high quality,well-made,10 out of 10 figure all transformer fans should enjoy.I highly recommend Deep Space Starscream to all transformer fans and collectors alike.Transformers Rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A mixed bag for StarscreamJul 13, 2009
By Erik Martinez This figure seems to be step one in a three step process for movie Starscream. Step two would be ROTF Starscream, and step 3 I hope is the Transformers 3 mold. I like the color on this one much better than the original movie figure or the G1 repaint. This figure has a horrible jet mode. That was the big reason I passed on it in 2007: it looks nothing like an F-22 Raptor. Because of the legs and arms, there is a huge amount of kibble on the bottom. It looks more like a robot folded under a jet than ROTF Leader Jetfire. It is easy to transform though. On mine the legs were a little weak, but there is still room for a fair bit of poseability. Robot mode looks great aside from the obnoxious missile hands. Don't bother with the missiles: they fire off with the slightest touch. He has missile holders on each arm if you desire. I haven't had any pieces snap off, so I think he can stand up to small children playing with him. If a little more imagination could have been put into his F-22 mode, this would have been a pretty good figure. As it stands, it's just ok.
"You left me to die on that insinifacan little planet!" said Megatron to Starscream.Oct 01, 2011
Thats what Megatron said to a tatooles Starscream in Revenge of the Fallen on a dieing Cybertron. Anyway I love the fact that theres no tatoos on it like Revenge of the Fallens Starscream. The only thing I hate is the legs keep coming off in transfomation but I play with it and no peaces broke so it's derable. The face is a more movie color and you will also notice the robot parts show better. All and all its a great toy.

Sure a grandmother can transform this, NOT THIS ONE. Grandson quickly changed it and then proudly exclamed I can teach you grandma... Just what the kids "order"
