5TY Slush 2007Jun 03, 2010
By Shelly Hedko "ShellyHedko"
After a lot of effort in trying to get the right version of the TY Slush that was once purchased a few years ago, and many sendbacks through Amazon(which were very helpful and tried their hardest to get me the right one, however they did not have the version I was looking for). I have found that BBToyStore has the 2007 version. Since many have complained that this is not the same version, I thought I would tell you, that after talking with them they do have it, and two are coming to my home in a few days!

The Ty Slush-Husky I purchased May 2010 looks very different than the one pictured here. I have uploaded a more current picture for future customers.Ty Slush - Husky

2Not the Husky of yesteryearJan 08, 2009
By Irish Rose
I repurchased this in December '08 to replace one that had "lost its softness." It is a tad larger than the one from a few years ago, but its plush is thinner and its eyes (oh get this) are cross-eyed now! He used to have such a beautiful face too, how sad TY is another company that seems to be hitting bottom. The picture doesn't quite capture his new face. At least the kids can learn to be sensitive to those a bit different than those that are "normal". So I gave it a few stars for educational.

1Not the Husky in the pictureJun 11, 2009

Very unhappy. I looked at the picture and it was spot on to the one my 2yr old cant be without. His is getting rather shabby and I was going to pull a switch. We already have 2 well now 3 of a dog that is much larger not as soft the fluff is missing from his inner ears which is a big deal to my son. I guess fleece just doesnt feel as good when hes snugglin and scratchin its ears at bedtime. So for me it was another loss but I have high hopes I will oneday find the one I need.

I wish my Slushie still looked as good as the picture! I got mine from Shoney's five or six years ago, so he's getting a little old. He's sat on my head board with my other stuffed animals (Shad and Penny) for the most part, but he also made a nice companion while I was in the hospital, and he is the my favorite, so he got to come to college too. He hasn't held up as well as I would have liked, as most of my other stuffed animals (10-15+ years old) haven't stained as much, even though they are all Dalmatians! As it is, he gets a bath once every six months or so, and he stays pretty fresh. The little beads in his butt make sure he sits properly, and when he was new the beads in his feet kept him standing on a flat, even surface.

Overall, he is amazing, I just wish I had the rest of the litter as well. :)
